Join Nevada thought leadership for an engaging two-part event around the cybersecurity landscape today and how we can navigate these changes in our IT strategy moving forward.

Agenda:

    • 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: CyberSmartNV Panel on Leveraging Automation
    • 10:30 a.m. – 10:45 a.m.: Live Q&A
    • 10:45 a.m. – 11:15 a.m.: Build a Culture of Security Awareness in Your Organization
    • 11:15 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.: Live Q&A

This year has disrupted the way we do business in every industry and brought forth unique security challenges in moving workforces remote and maintaining business continuity.

In the first part of this event, panelists will lead an open dialogue on how they adjusted their initiatives quickly, as well as ways to operationalize with tools already in place, and key considerations on security trends such as automation and cloud adoption. Afterwards, there will be a live Q&A with the panel.

Panelists:

    • David Tyburski (CISO, Wynn Resorts)
    • Brad Sexton (CISO, Desert Research Institute)
    • Paul Schaab (Former Director of Cybersecurity, Caesars’ Entertainment)
    • Bruce Hembree (Field CTO for Cortex, Palo Alto Networks.)

In the second half of the event, you will hear from Sr. Manager for Security Education & Awareness at Palo Alto Networks, Monique Head. Even with the most innovative security tools implemented, if employees are not security conscious in their everyday usage of technology, it introduces more risk and vulnerabilities to your organization with insider threats.

Monique will explain how to build an employee security education and awareness program similar to that at Palo Alto Networks — from identifying objectives, maintaining operations, and collaborating with your InfoSec team. She’ll also cover social engineering and training your employees to not click on potential phishing emails. We’ll also open this up to a live Q&A with Monique.

As a thank-you for participating in this event, we are happy to offer you a $20 e-gift card to DoorDash, or we can make a charitable contribution to the following organization: Nevada’s Three Square. Please make your selection when registering.
