David Tyburski

For the last 13 years, he has been responsible for leading the enterprise strategy for information security, identity/access, governance, and incident management for the Las Vegas based developer and operator of high-end luxury hotels and casinos. His passion for innovation in information security and risk management, delivering bottom-line business contributions, avoiding losses from security incidents, improving customer retention, and reducing corporate liability has enabled Wynn to set the bar for excellence worldwide in cybersecurity service delivery. Before joining Wynn Resorts, David has held various leadership roles in organizations ranging from venture-stage companies to multi-national publicly traded corporations. David has over 25 years’ experience in the information technology and security field and has architected several worldwide networks throughout his career. David serves on several Customer Advisory Boards for both technology and security solutions. He earned a BA degree in Business Administration from Francis Marion College in 1991 and has since served on the Alumni Advisory Council to the College of Business since graduation.

Debbie Banko

Debbie is the Chief Executive Officer and founder of Link Technologies, an IT professional services firm established in 2000. Her customer focus, commitment to quality, and over thirty years of consulting experience continue to be the driving force for Link’s growth and success.
Outside of her role at Link, Debbie is a champion for causes that expand the IT workforce. In addition to serving on the board of CyberSmartNV, she is a major supporter of SIM Las Vegas and TechImpact, and has volunteered her time on the Governor’s Workforce Investment Board, the TechImpact board, and the Nevada IT Symposium committee.

Margaret Taylor

Ms. Taylor, a resident of Nevada for 40 years, earned her MBA from UNLV in 1987, a BS-Business Admin-MIS from UNLV in 1985, and an AAS-Data Processing from CSN in 1983. She worked in the IT industry for more than 35 years and held positions as a Programmer, Systems Analyst, Project Manager, Software Development Department Manager, and Software Quality Assurance Manager. She started teaching at CSN as a member of the part-time faculty in 1980 and became a member of the full-time faculty in 2004. She is currently Computing & Information Technology Department Chair.

Of the many professional endeavors Ms. Taylor is involved with, she is most passionate about the state of Digital Literacy and Cybersecurity education in Nevada.

Vince Macri

Vince’s career has been dedicated to Information Systems which has spanned both the private and public sector. This has encompassed 10 years in the major hotel and gaming industry and 20 years in the transportation industry at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas as a network engineer and supervisor. This includes responsibility for leading the telecommunications engineering team which supports multiple critical large enterprise operational networks, information systems security, assessments and wireless at Clark County Department of Aviation.

Maria Sexton

Maria Sexton has more than 25 years of experience in the information security, information technology and audit/compliance industries. She is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) at University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC), Nevada's only Level I Trauma Center, only Designated Pediatric Trauma Center, only Burn Care Center and only Center for Transplantation. As CIO, Maria oversees the delivery of all technology services for UMC as well as leads the Information Security Program charged with protection of patient data and UMC systems. Before her promotion to CIO, Maria was the Director of Information Technology/Information Security Officer. Prior to joining UMC, Maria directed the IT Compliance Program at MGM Resorts International, and led security operations programs at both Walgreen’s and Kellogg’s. She received her undergraduate degree in Management Information Systems from UNLV, and holds CISSP, CCSP, CRISC, CDPSE, CISM and CISA certifications.

Yvette Knisley

Yvette Knisley has over 16 years of experience in the Information technology. Leading all facets of the PMO on both large and small corporate initiatives within gaming, infrastructure, design & construction. She is currently the Director of Business and Program Management at Link Technologies wearing multiple hats. Before moving to Link Technologies Yvette was with Caesars Entertainment for 10 years & MGM International for 6 years.
