As AARP and Microsoft have written, “online safety is ageless.” Protecting personal information, using social networks safely, and ensuring secure online shopping and banking transactions are a priority for all of us. And no one, regardless of age, is immune to the possibilities of identity theft or cyber bullying.
Still, we value the connectivity of being online, and according to “Connecting Generations,” a collaborative study by AARP and Microsoft, online communication helps us better understand our family members. What’s more, we’re seeing an increase of communication online.
